Apprenticeship programme finds next generation of creative talent

Devonshire have built a team of apprentices for a global investment bank committed to developing fresh talent and diverse perspectives.

Creativity doesn’t only come from seasoned professionals… our client wanted to nurture innovation and create the next generation of designers and visual communication specialist with a talent programme that would lead to a Level 3 Apprenticeship or university degree.

As part of an end-to-end strategy, we liaised with educational institutions and apprenticeship programmes to find candidates with strong creative skills and a passion for design – as well as the keen eye for detail so important in financial services. 

We recruited apprentices with a desire to learn, provided training and mentorship, and quickly embedded them into real-time projects. Their fresh ideas and enthusiasm injected new energy into the bank's creative output.

The apprentices have grown into key contributors, and several have been offered full-time roles. “The recruitment process for identifying our apprentices was fantastic,” said a spokesperson for the bank. “I understand you received 1,500 applicants, yet the quality presented to us for the final round was outstanding.”
