Background screening platform cuts manual processes by 75%

We introduced a global communications client to our automated screening software for pre-employment background checks to save time and resources – and stay on the right side of employment law and right-to-work legislation.

Previously, a manual process was complex and time-consuming, requiring candidates to be contacted (and chased) individually and documents to be verified in person. However, the Devonshire platform allows all candidates to submit relevant information from their laptop or smartphone, and for right-to-work documents to be validated by Identity Document Validation Technology (IDVT).

The platform automatically sends chaser emails, places the onus on candidates to comply and has reduced manual screening time by 75%. A client spokesperson for HR Operations said the platform was a ‘delight’ to use. They added: “Having used the service for more than 300 new hires, I have complete confidence in the platform. It’s given us a much stronger ability to hire remotely and, come audit time, the PDF format allows for easy redaction and simpler reporting.”
